mixed f.e.e.l.i.n.g.s

when I was just in secondary school, when people said that work was so much harder than studying, I scoffed at the thought. Nahhh.. I'll definately love work much more than this hell i have to go through everyday facing the teachers and more text books and more nonsensical copying of history notes from the board. But alas.. things have changed.

Today Sky and Steve started their first day at work. And they have been put under my charge. Steve, the super over enthusiatic young fella who wore a tie to work on his first day. and Sky.. the adorable young thing who ties his hair up into a ponytail whenever he's feeling girlish.. Hmm.. i wonder if i still have that post where he has smoke coming out from his head.

I have worked with Sky before and he's a fun doink to work with. Glad he gets along well with Evie.. Er... i don't think she has a choice cause she's sandwiched between Steve and Sky with the new revamped office layout.

About Steve... well.. i hope i can find lots of things for him to do. He seems to be someone who would crumple in a depressed heap if there were nothing left to do. He would do just fineeeee...

And then the Boss had decided to dish out his first fine for the MSN/Yahoo thingy chat programs to Evie today. Bad bad wolf. wai leng does go on msn sometimes too. well, i do go on msn the entire day too, but with the handy help from Messenger Plus.. nyehehehe. But yar. it's a shitty rule. ah well. at least we'll get some pisang goreng from the 'mamak tong' soon from evie. ;)

and when the boss had mentioned something about me looking over the creative part of the magazine... gah... evie is more experienced in the creatives side of the mag. why me la.

like i have so little things to do already. heh.

but wouldn't it be fun to just get out of the office and lepak around sungei wang to get a few photos and a few boutiques contacts for career write ups or for reviews... at least can go kai kai for a while.

yar. but then again, i guess brand consultants have to sit in the office to do their consulting. heh.

and yeah. i sold my Proton Saga for Rm 5,800. To get my new Wira Aeroback Special Edition thingy. I had that car for the past .. er... 5 years. I do remember there was once I had left a packet of chicken drumsticks from Giant in the boot of the car... for a few days. Yeah. you don't want to imagine the unholy stink of my car for the next few days.. Phhueeyy... Lalang all around my car also can die. not to mention the mosquitoes.. maybe they died of lung cancer or something.

Yeah... i had loads of memories in that car. the first few bumps .. injuries from 'underestimated' size of parking spaces and turning circumference.. yup yup... I think my bumper had flew off 4 feet into the air once when a 4WD scraped the side of my car. Got my first speeding ticket in that old junk. Heh.. Some malfunctioned speedo-gun maybe.

And yeah.. I will always remember the first time my car got towed away when i parked outside the vicinity of my college.

Nicky : Lynn... where the heck is your car?

Lynn : Whaddyaaa mean.. doink?.. forgot to bring your glasses today kar? it's there la the same place where I parked la. behind that lane there.. next to that spunky looking Alfa Romeo.

Nicky : Serious. The Alfa Romeo is there. The Proton Saga.. Nada. Zilch. eee-llekk..

Lynn : ... Pffttt... Come la. I show you.

Lynn : Nicky. Where the heck is my car?

.. .. ... .. Yar... the question was answered after I had went to MPSJ, paid the bloody fine.. and took a cab to SS15 to get my poor car back.. Bloody biased tow-truck operators... preying on the poor and junky...

Yesssss.... my Saga. My good friend had joked saying that it was my BMW. 'Built for My Width'.. Yarrrrrrr...... i know laaa i had a big bum. But yeah... .. I still can not get that stink of the chicken out of my head.

Well... .. I had most of my 'firsts' in that Saga. hmmm... i had my first kiss in the Gen 2.. .. but still... I'm going to miss that BMW of mine. The Wira would be mine tomorrow. I hope it's not as cacat as I know it would be. Heh.

And Wednesday.. yar.. Ladies night at Carnegies again.. Whoo hoo!... hopefully this time Sky would COME and see the leng chais there. er.. not that much leng chai la.. only when me and Evie shake our bums bums then only got leng chais come yarrr??.. nyehehhe.. hmm... will plot to get Jade to come along too.. hmm. hmmm .. hmmmm....

And caroline... yar.. she has not been contacting me since that old sugar daddy of hers made a move onto my.. er.. hand. Hmm.. hmm... shall call her and ask if she wants to have a few shakes of the booty for old times sake. Heh. Maybe Elly and Jessie too.. Hmm.. hmm....
