Fresh Faces 2006 was to choose the 12 college kids from a total of 23 that would appear on our MYC!new cover like Rachel Heng for December MYC!news. The preparation for the event was extensive - but not as stressful as M&M's Battle of the Bands had been - maybe cause i had HUGE help from Carolin (my new designer), Daniel (my new flash guru) and Jon (our new one-leg-kick event consultant). They have been GREAT.

The bands were noisy to my opinion - although Liang gave a very nice start to the event wit his RnB selections. The rest however, like Vespertine and some other noisy band, sounded like mangled squeals from the sound system. Urban Groove, the dancers, were quite ok-lar.. been seeing too much of the Break dance - hip hop articles on the magazine to be much bothered by them. And I think some of the bitches had flicked some of the Stila gifts for the winners. Gah.

It was a flurry of funny moments - the hair dresser had turned a few of the contestants into miniature versions of the Lion from the film Narnia - you should see the scandalized look on the leng luis. Hahah. Makes me appreciate the iron straightener that I had bought a few years back. and someone had broken high heels.. i thought that was funny... the curious look of her friend with the broken heel in one hand.. trying to be helpful.. heheh.

Daniel Lee's appearance had reduced a floor-full of aunties to 12 year old teenages. Gosh.. they were squabbling about who was to hold the camera and which area of their panties gets to be autographed by the jinjang looking ah beng. His songs were okay-only-la. Nonetheless, i had asked him to autograph a copy of the MYC!news magazine 'just in case' he gets famous and then i can sell his autograph on e-Bay.

Ahh... and now that load's off my chest... Now gotta rush for the January Magazine. GAH!.. Time flies so fast!.. It's 9 days before Christmas already.. and i haven't gotten everyone's Christmas pressie yet and and and.... damn.. it's the end of the year already.

Time does zips past you when you're not looking eh? And it says that there's 33 more days to go to our first yer together.. yar... *smiles smiles blinks blinks*. So fast ler. And and and and and there's 4 more days to go till my wubb wubb comes back home!... *hugs hugs*... so happieeee..... !!!!
