g.i.r.l.f.r.i.e.n.d.s

I had a loonnnggg week. On Friday evening, the Big Nut had called in for a meeting at 6:30pm. But he only arrived at 7:20pm, and after a hurried dinner of Domino's pizza, the meeting started at 7:45pm.

As usual.. the long list of last-minute-pending jobs resurfaced again .. .. Nescafe Kickstart Creatives are due on Monday.. and Eng Seen had only managed to pick up the fonts and poster artwork from McCann around late noon. There's 17 posters, 1 wheel sticker, 1 layout of the roadshow and 1 creative for the Magazine Rack sticker thingy altogether - not to forget a dang postbox. *sighs*.. The Client (Shariena) is not as demanding, it's just the god damned new Indian boss from Canada of hers. ppffttt... canada.. fanada.. banana... all the same.

And then... .. M&M's... .. Ahhhhh... the sad story of the befallen Taylor's College of Subang Jaya. They are a bunch of stuck up doinks. M&M's decided that they didn't want any more relationship with Taylor's College and they are shifting the venue for Battle of the Bands finals to Sunway Pyramid instead.. and I heard that the space at Sunway Pyramid is free. Taylor's was being quite a child when they announced that no finals would be held at their premises unless it was made 'M&M's & Taylor's College Inter-College Battle of the Bands', with their logo huge and prominent on every printed media.

Hellloooo... M&M's is spending like RM100k for the entire project and you think you can whine and stomp your feet to get your way?.. Pffttttttttt.. tough luck. Live with it and stop acting like a bunch of morons.. we have better things to sort out here other than handing out candies. And now, I would have to produce more buntings to hang around Sunway Pyramid and change every creative copy... they might even change the dates of the finals..

Hmm.. what else. Ahh yessss... We are rushing (har har.. what's new) for Coca-Cola's roadshow creatives again.. although it's just a piece of round vinyl mat for 2 people to stand on to give out flyers... telling me like 4 days before the deadline isn't going to help at all, you dick weed!!!!!

And then TM-NET is just around the corner with another round of roadshows ("Ooohhhhhh.. don't have to worry.. it's only starting in July" says Boss - Yarrrrrr ... what happened to your 'One hour of planning saves 3 hours of panic' motto?.... Went down the toilet already????). We are not super heroes here.. doh..

... . Gah.. enough of those bullshit. I have better things to write about in my blog..

Yesss... today... I woke up at 11am. I really did want to wake up at 10am so that I could spend a few minutes chatting to my darling before I leave for 1 Utama at 12pm. But ah well.. the piggy side of me was being assertive.. and I had no more brain power to counter it. I left the house at 12:05pm.. cruising on the rather smooth highway, on the phone with darling (look... you are never going to hear the end of my darling.. hehe). He had left a voice message while my phone was MIA for a few minutes.. and I am still puzzled as to why I feel all tingly and excited whenever I hear his serious tone of voice.

Reached at 12:20pm, and got a parking at 12:30pm. Har har.. was very lucky. I guess Nicky's theory of 'go to where no one else is going to' really helped. Met up with Eve... she was looking rather flustered today.. but still with her cheery self intact. She was complaining of her period pains and the need to get another non-white coloured skirt for a wedding dinner .. .. er.. which commenced.. maybe around.. 6 hours ago.

We had a huge lunch at TGIF, chattering away like some escaped monkeys on girly stuff. I do enjoy their company very much. I find that it's extremely hard to find friends to go shopping together, share naughthy secrets, dirty (and always useless) gossips... And I somehow always seem to mention William's name in my conversations with everyone else. I bet they are getting tired of hearing his name - and yet to meet in person. (so they could complain to him that I just can't shut up about him!)

Eve and I had took a short detour while waiting for Jade to Sommerset Bay to get her a skirt. She liked the pink Gypsy skirt that I had bought a few weeks ago, but she said that it made her hips look more pronounced and that her hips are wider than mine.. Hmm.. .. Dunno ler. But I think my bum is perfectly finnneeee... Then she zoomed in on a turquoise Organza laced knee-lenght skirt. Which i had nearly bought the last time. I reallllyyyy love dressy skirts. Ah well, but i did settle on a long A line cut jean skirt with .. . laced borders... thingy.. midway at the knees... Er.. No idea how to describe it but.. it looked gothic enough.

Then... we went off to look for Khew's pressie.. His birthday is on the 13th June.. and we got him a slick looking.. ballpoint pen and mechanical pencil set. Well, they engraving machine was out of order at U-Parkson.. .. so.. we had to walk alllll the way back to the old wing to get it done - only to find out that the sales girl had left for dinner and won't be back within the hour. Gah.

I think that was enough of walking for a day.. .I need to walk somemore with William's mummy tomorrow at 1pm... Ahh... bed... here i come..
